Fall Ball - 3rd-12th Grade

Registration is open JULY 1st to Aug 4th (Please register earlier than later).

Join us as we offer another exciting season of Fall Baseball for our EPBA families, from 9U-18U (3rd-12th Grade)!

EPBA is trying to make Fall Ball a more relaxed environment for players to continue playing baseball, to get more reps at the plate and field, to learn the new rules for next season, and/or to try baseball for the 1st time! 

FALL Ball does not have score results logged, and there are no trophies.

Details:

1. EPBA will play other metro area teams on Sundays for five weekends.
2. Two games will be played each Sunday with games on Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, Oct 5th - 2025 
3. Game times can be 10am, 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm (away games are usually back to back times).  
4. Practices may be held once or twice per week and take 2nd priority to other in-season practices/games.
5. We understand some kids are in other sports in the fall and coaches will work with those who may need tomiss practices.
6. Cost: $125 per player - Jersey included (Players to reuse an existing EPBA Hat).
7. Players will compete at the age division they will play in summer of 2026.
8. Please register your child for the age level they will be playing in the spring/summer of 2026 - example: if your child plays 10U currently, they will play 11U in the Fall. (9U players are generally in 3rd grade this fall and 12U players are in 6th grade)
9. 2 Levels of Play - Community / A Travel or AA / AAA Travel.
10. EPBA’s goal is to place all players on a team with other Eden Prairie players, but sometimes registration numbers at a specific age don’t align to form a full team. At that point, EPBA will work with MBL to create a full team with players from other communities.

Team Formation Information:

*Fall 11U – 16U teams will be formed by Head Coaches & past player performance information. EPBA will work with the coaches to make sure we mix community kids into teams as appropriate. Teams generally consist of 12 players.

*Fall 9U & 10U teams will be formed during a discussion amongst the coaches & fall ball director. Player evaluations from Spring 2025 2nd & 3rd grade coaches will also be used to create teams. EPBA wants to make sure the teams compete in the correct division and pitching/experience level are more evenly distributed amongst the community/rec division teams. The even distribution of pitching capabilities will lead to a more enjoyable fall ball experience.
