Round Lake Stadium - 2026 Fundraiser
Since it opened in 2009, the Round Lake Stadium baseball field has been Eden Prairie’s go-to diamond - the place where big wins were celebrated, including High School State champions in 2017 and American Legion World Series champions in 2011. It has also been where countless local teams made memories (and lost many baseballs in the process).
Now, the EP Baseball Association - in collaboration with Eden Prairie Schools and the City of Eden Prairie - is collecting donations to give this well-loved field the upgrade it deserves. Think of it as a makeover… but for a baseball field.
First up: the infield.
Instead of the usual “dirt,” we’re upgrading to a professional-grade mix—aglime, clay, silt, and a moisture stabilizer. Translation: it’ll stay firm, hold up during busy tournament days, and handle Minnesota’s wild mood swings of blazing heat and sudden rain. It’s the same type of surface used at CHS Field, home of the St. Paul Saints. We’ll also be expanding the basepaths and laying new, fresh sod along the edges.
Next on the wish list: the backstop netting.
We want to replace the current net with a taller, more modern version that’s easier to see through—so fans can enjoy the action without feeling like they’re watching baseball through a screen door.
The full project is expected to cost $60,000–$75,000, with construction planned for Fall 2026. We’re collaborating with the City of Eden Prairie, the EP schools, and local foundations—but we can only bring this vision to life with community support.

Check If Your Employer Matches Donations
Many employers have programs that match your charitable donations to 501(c)(3) organizations. If your employer does this, remember to have them match your donation to the EPBA (EIN: 41-1666913). If you’re unsure if your employer matches, here’s a great list to check.
