The Eden Prairie Baseball Association (EPBA) is a 100% volunteer-run, community-focused non-profit. Everything we do - from first pitch to the final out - happens because local parents and community members make it possible.
You don’t need to be a baseball expert to make an impact. Our board needs organizational leaders, creative minds, and people managers. If you have skills you're willing to share, we have a rewarding way for you to plug into the community.

Executive Leadership
President
- The Role: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the board. You'll propose seasonal initiatives, ensure overall health and longevity of Eden Prairie baseball, and maintain a strong partnership with the City of Eden Prairie Parks & Recreation department.
- Great fit for: Senior Directors, Executives, Business Owners, or Project Management leaders who excel at big-picture planning and guiding teams toward a common goal.
VP of Operations
- The Role: Keep the engine running smoothly. You will oversee a cluster of operational directors - including uniforms, equipment, fields, volunteers, and tournaments - lending a hand where needed to ensure families and guests have an incredible experience at our parks.
- Great fit for: Directors of Operations, Supply Chain Managers or General Managers who love refining processes and supporting team members.
Logistics & Coordination
Field Scheduling
- The Role: Create master schedules for home games and practices, manage field requests or weather changes in our Crossbar system.
- Great fit for: Project Managers or anyone who is highly organized and thrives on managing spreadsheets and timelines.
Volunteer Coordinator
- The Role: Help parents find simple ways to give back. You will coordinate with other board members to figure out volunteer needs, post shifts into the Crossbar system, and handle light email communications to keep our travel families on track with their hours.
- Great fit for: Human Resources professionals, Event Coordinators, Communications Specialists, or Office Administrators who enjoy coordination and friendly customer service.
Player & Coach Enrichment
Player Development
- The Role: Elevate the baseball experience for every kid in town. You will design and coordinate development initiatives - like winter training and in-season clinics - ensuring our volunteer coaches feel supported and equipped.
- Great fit for: Educators, Corporate Trainers, Former Athletes, or Learning & Development specialists who enjoy mentoring others, building curriculum, and creating positive team cultures.
Player Evaluations Director
- The Role: Ensure a smooth, fair, and positive tryout experience for Travel, Fall, and Community leagues. You will plan dates, arrange evaluators, and analyze historical data to continually improve our scoring systems so kids are placed in the best position to succeed.
- Great fit for: Data Analysts, Researchers, Project Managers, or Operations Leads who love logistics and ensuring processes are objective and transparent.
Execution & Event Management
Tournament Director
- The Role: Plan and execute EPBA-hosted tournaments using TourneyMachine, set division brackets, coordinate signage, and team up with our field and volunteer crews to create a best-in-state experience for visiting teams.
- Great fit for: Event Managers, Hospitality Directors, Project Managers, or anyone who loves the energy of game day and large-scale community events.
Uniform Director
- The Role: Gather player sizes from registration data, coordinate custom designs and orders for hats, jerseys, and pants across all programs, manage the budget, and coordinate pickup days for coaches.
- Great fit for: Merchandisers, Retail Managers, or anyone with a keen eye for detail and design.
Fundraising Director
- The Role: Secure the resources that keep our youth programs accessible. You will connect with local businesses to sell scoreboard advertising panels and tournament sponsorships, while also brainstorming fun community-wide events like Opening Day.
- Great fit for: Account Executives, Sales Professionals, or Fundraising Specialists who love networking and advocate passionately for youth sports.
